The town has several facilities that can be reserved for public use.

Town facilities must be reserved to guarantee availability.

They are used regularly for Public and Private Events. Contact the Town Hall for availability at (518)251-2869.

How to complete a reservation of a facility:

Residents can reserve our facilities at no cost, with a $100 security deposit. This deposit will be refunded after use, provided that the facility is left clean, all trash has been removed, and no damage has been made. Residents are required to provide valid proof of residency, such as an ID, tax bill, or utility bill with the resident’s name and address.

Non-residents are also able to reserve our facilities for a Fee plus a $100 security deposit. Fees for each facility can be found here; 2024 Facility Use Fees.

  1. Contact the Town of Minerva for availability
  2. Complete the Facility Use Form
  3. Complete the Indemnification & Contribution Agreement
  4. Pay the required deposit and the usage fees, as applicable

Reservations may be held for a maximum of 10 days and must be made at least 24 hours before the requested date. If you do not finalize your request within 10 days of initiating, your requested date will open up to others.

  • If you plan to serve alcohol(hard liquor is not allowed) at your event, you should have a “Special Event Permit” from the NYS Liquor Authority. NYS Liquor Authority
  • If your guest expectation exceeds 100 guests, you will be required to provide a porta-potty for the event and may be asked to complete an operating permit.
