Speed Limit Study County Route 30

Dear Friends and Neighbors,

The Town Board has been approached regarding a petition for a possible speed limit change on County Route 30 (AP Morse Memorial Highway).

The next step in this process will be to conduct a traffic speed study. Because County Route 30 is owned by Essex County, the study will be conducted by the Essex County Department of Public Works (DPW).

The speed study is anticipated to begin within the next couple of weeks.

Once the study is completed, the collected data will be forwarded to the New York State Department of Transportation (NYS DOT) for their determination. For review and determination.
