NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
2027 PRELIMINARY BUDGET
FOR THE TOWN OF MINERVA, ESSEX COUNTY, NEW YORK

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Preliminary Budget of the Town of Minerva, Essex County, New York, for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2027, has been completed and filed in the Town Clerk’s office at the Town Hall, where it is available for inspection during business hours.
FURTHER NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Town Board will meet and review said Preliminary Budget and hold a public hearing thereon at 6:30 PM, E.S.T. on Thursday, November 5, 2026 at the Town Hall, Minerva, New York, and that at such time and place any person may be heard in favor of or against the Preliminary Budget as complied, for or against any item or items therein contained.
PURSUANT TO SECTION § 108 OF THE TOWN LAW, that the following are the proposed yearly salaries of the Town Officers:

Town Supervisor $49,815
Court Justice ($13,253 + Clerk $5,835) $19,088
Council member (4 at $5,362) $21,448
Highway Superintendent $72,404
Tax Collector $ 7,622
Town Clerk $13,205
