NYS burn ban 3/16 – 5/14

The annual NYS burn ban runs March 16th through May 14th. DEC is reminding the public that conditions for wildfires are heightened in springtime when most wildfires occur. The annual ban has decreased spring wildfires by nearly 43 % since 2009.
