Minerva can be called a nature-lover’s paradise, with more than half of the town having been labeled state land. Minerva is a true Adirondack town centrally located and tucked between the mountains. The town is named after Minerva, the Roman goddess of wisdom.
Minerva is a quiet little town with wonderful family activities such as swimming at Minerva Lake, picnicking at Donnelly Beach, camping at the new campgrounds, hiking on Moxam Mountain, fishing at Minerva Dam, biking, snowmobiling and cross country skiing. Learn More…

A MESSAGE FROM MINERVA TOWN SUPERVISOR
Stephen R. McNally
Welcome to our new website. Every month we will be adding new information and more features to help our residents, vacation friends and first time visitors learn more about what our town has to offer. We are proud of the many services we provide here in Minerva. We have many summer events and hope that you will take a look at our Minerva Lake Camping and Picnic area. Minerva is located in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains, a short drive from Albany and the Capital District of New York State. We are close to many tourist and vacation spots. So save gas and visit Minerva Lake.
