The Town Historian is appointed annually by the Supervisor and Town Board.
The Town Historian collects, preserves, and disseminates the History of the Town. The Town Historian, Teresa Brannon Strohmeyer, is available to meet by appointment.

For requests of Genealogical Records or copies of Birth, Death, and Marriage Records, you must contact the Town Clerk’s Office, as the Registrar of Vital Statistics. Please be aware, appropriate forms are required to be completed and appropriate fees paid to the Town of Minerva Town Clerk for research of Genealogical Records and/or copies of Birth, Death, and Marriage Records.
