June 28, 2022 PRIMARY Town of Minerva

New York will have two primary elections this year. The June 28 Primary includes statewide races. Democrats will be voting to select candidates for Governor (Kathy Hochul, Tom Suozzi, Jumaane Williams). Democrats will also have the opportunity to select a Lt. Governor candidate (Antonio Delgado, Ana Maria Archila and Diana Reyna). Republicans will select a candidate for Governor (Rob Astorino, Andrew Giulani, Harry Wilson, Lee Zeldin). In Essex County, there are no State Assembly, county-wide or local primaries this time. New York’s State Senate and Congressional candidate primary will be held on August 23.

Minerva voters who are registered Republicans or Democrats should plan to vote at the Community Center, lower level (1652 NYS Rt. 28N). The polls will be open from 6 am to 9 pm.
