Minerva’s 911 Emergency Sign Program
MINERVA | Concerned that every house in the Town of Minerva is easily identified in the event of a fire or some other need for rescue assistance, Town Supervisor Steve McNally has introduced Minerva’s 911 Emergency Sign Program, whereby all Minerva residents—including property owners and renters—will be given 6″ X 18″ reflective signs with the number of their street address clearly printed on them for quick and easy identification.
The signs are free of charge to Minerva residents.
To order your sign, call the Minerva Town Hall at 518-251-2869, where signs can also be picked up when ready. McNally hopes to have every home on board before winter weather sets in.
This effort will integrate and streamline the various agencies involved in the area’s 911 response system and should lessen response time.
