911 Emergency House Signs

911 Emergency House Signs

Dear residents of Minerva,

The Town of Minerva is concerned that every house in town be easily identified, especially in case of fire or if there is a need for the rescue squad to assist them. This is best accomplished by each of us having the number of our residence displayed. In order for an efficient emergency service, fire and ambulance, it is imperative that all homes are clearly identifiable.
The Town has received the first 90 emergency 911 signs, from the Essex County Highway Department, and most of them have been picked up at the Minerva Town Hall. We expect the second batch of signs in the next week of two and will call everyone who ordered their signs, in the second round, to pick them up. You may have noticed signs around town on people’s home, garages or mailboxes.

If you have not ordered your 911 emergency sign please contact us at the Town Hall – 518-251-2869. We will be ordering the last batch of signs by the end of next week. The signs are free please make sure that your home can be easily identified with a 6” x 18” reflective sign.

Please call and take advantage of this very great program.

Thank you for your interest in this important initiative in our Town.
