A MESSAGE FROM THE TOWN OF MINERVA

A MESSAGE FROM THE TOWN OF MINERVA

Friends and Neighbors,

I was contacted Sunday morning that five individuals had tested positive for COVID in the Town of Minerva.

Beginning Sunday, we began collecting data on any possible contacts for the positive individuals.  This data has been forwarded to the Essex County Health Department where contact tracing and quarantine instructions have begun.

As of Monday evening our town has had fifteen positive test results.

We are working hand and hand with the Essex County Health Department to do what is best to curb the spread of COVID as well as to keep the community healthy and informed.

As we get more information and instruction we will get this posted as soon as we receive it.

In the mean time we must continue to wear mask when appropriate, social distance, avoid large crowds, use hand sanitizer and wash our hands often.

If you are in quarantine, please respect others and stay at home.

We will get thru this together.
